Judge Judith L French, of the 10th District Court of Appeals has been appointed by Governor John Kasich to fill a vacancy on the Ohio Supreme Court due to the resignation of Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton.
French has served on the 10th District Court since 2004. French’s appointment becomes effective on 1 January 2013.
French was a legal adviser to both former Governor Bob Taft and Attorney General Betty Montgomery.
