The Secret Hold

The 'secret hold' allows a member of the legislative branch of our government to delay a bill or nomination, and to do so without his identity being known.  Over 100 nominations are being held up by members of  the Upper Chamber of the Congress.

These potential appointments serve vital functions within our society, not just within the federal government.

The American public should be duly alarmed, and a lack of candour cannot be concealed by anonymity, let the sunshine.
